Reynaldo Martinez
November 06, 1938 - June 30, 2023
First Name “DAD” Last Name “MARTINEZ” “I am heartbroken to announce the death of my husband, Reynaldo Martinez, who loved to be called “Dad” by his three sons, and “Toto” by his four grandchildren and other children that had the privileged to be under his and my care from infancy to age 5 and remained in his life to the end. He was also known as “Rey” by his family and friends. On Friday, June 30, 2023, in my presence and that of our children and grandchildren he left us for his final resting place with his Heavenly Father and he will be forever missed and loved by us all.”
Mrs. Victoria Martinez
“In life we loved him dearly and in death we will do the same. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; but as God calls us one by one the chain will link again.”
By Ron Tranmer
Reynaldo Martinez was born on October 6, 1938, in Los Rodriguez Anahuac, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Francisco Martinez and Juana Guzman and the oldest of three sons. Rey, as we all got to know him, didn’t have the opportunity for much education because he had to work at such an early age to help his parents, which led to him coming to Pasadena, Texas where he would meet his future wife, Victoria Martinez. He loved and doted on Vicky and gave her the world she was never without and always had the best. Reynaldo is survived by his wife, Victoria (Vicky) Martinez of 55 years, three sons, Fabian Martinez, Reynaldo Martinez, Jr. and wife, Belinda Martinez, Francisco Martinez, and four grandchildren, Reyna V. Martinez, Grabiel Martinez, Reylene B. Martinez, and Raymundo Martinez all from Pasadena, Texas.
In February, 1998, Rey retired from Brown and Root and along with his wife would devote the next 25 years, becoming a caretaker to assist in raising, loving, and teaching their four grandchildren life skills and attending all of their extra-curricular activities; along with caring and assisting in raising his grandchildren, he cared and assisted in caring and raising Desirae, Kassie, Sara, Mariah, Bianca, Kimberly, Jayden, AJ and Miles and although they were not related to him, his heart was so big and the kids loved him and he treated them like they were his own and he tried to teach them all Spanish, their ABCs, and how to count in English and Spanish. His favorite subject was Math and he enjoyed reading.
He loved to watch his Houston Astros baseball team and his “Mexico” Soccer team, which he was a “BIG” fan of, and his son, Rey made sure he called DAD to tell him when Mexico lost, which would make him madder. His proudest moment of success was on February 17, 1994, when he became a U.S. Citizen, after refusing to take the Citizenship test in Spanish, although he spoke little English, it was important to him that if you wanted to be a U.S. Citizen you have to learn to speak their primary language so he made time to take classes to learn to read, write and speak English and took the test in English and continued to work long hours in between to provide the best for his family.
Services will be held at Celestial Funeral Home, located on 1922 Strawberry Rd., Pasadena, Texas 77502, on Friday, July 7, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m

Joaquin Soriano Jr.
April 20th, 1964 - May 25, 2023
Joaquin Soriano, also known to the family as Jr., was born into the loving hands of Joaquin Soriano Sr. and Maria Carmen Soriano on April 20th, 1964 in East Chicago, Indiana. Joaquin was the youngest of three children. He was known as a son, a brother, an uncle, and even a great uncle. He was the listener in the family—someone you could talk to for hours and who would still look at you with intrigue. Growing up, you would always see him riding motorcycles and working on cars, he was the one you’d wanna be seen catching a nice ride with. Even with one of his own big losses, losing his son, Joaquin Soriano III, and a couple years later losing his beloved wife, Elizabeth Ramos-Soriano, Jr. had tried to always be the best person he could be in one of the most unfortunate situations someone could ever imagine themselves in, and that’s what makes him so admirable, because no matter what he tried his absolute best. In his free time, he loved fishing and would always be with his mother. He treated his chihuahua, Chiquita, like a princess, always feeding and spoiling her. He had great taste in music and movies; he adored listening to Grupo Mazz and would play them all the time. Jr was always someone you’d have a good time with, no matter what situation you were in or where you were. Jr made every moment loveable and fun. People always admired him and spoke highly of him; it didn't matter if they were neighbors, shop owners, or even family friends; there was always something positive to say about him. There was never a single person who didn’t like him, and even if there was a single conflict, he would try to make things right. Joaquin Soriano Jr. is loved so much in our family and will always be remembered through memories and photographs. We talk about him every chance we get, we laugh and cry over his reminiscence. He’s brought our family closer together in more ways than one, and for that we will forever be grateful. We all miss him so much, but we know that he’s now eternally in peace, resting and waiting with Joaquin Soriano Sr. and Joaquin Soriano III. His surviving family members are his loving mother, Maria Carmen Soriano, his adoring, loving sister, Lori Jones, Tommy Jones, Alexandra Olvera, J. Concepcion Olvera, Carlitos, Jesse, Destiny, Anthony, Lulu Ramos-Khan, Hasan Khan, Zahra Hasan, and Tahir Hasan.
“…Until We Meet Again”
“Those special memories of you
Will always bring a smile
if only i could have you back
for just a little while
Then we could sit and talk again
just like we used to do
you always meant so very much
and will always do too
The fact that you’re no longer here
will always cause me pain
but you’re forever in my heart
until we meet again.”

Emilio Fuentes, Jr.
April 15, 1942 - May 8, 2023
Life Is Forever, Death Is a Dream
If we did not go to sleep at night
We’d never awaken to see the light.
And the joy of watching a new day break
Or meeting the dawn by some quiet lake,
Would never be ours unless we slept
While God and all His angels kept,
A vigil through this “little death”
That’s over with the morning’s breath.
And death, too, is a time of sleeping
For those who died are in God’s keeping.
And there’s a sunrise for each soul,
For life, not death is God’s promised goal.
So trust God’s promise and doubt Him never.
For only through death can man live forever!

WHEN TOMORROW STANDS WITHOUT ME PLEASE TRY TO UNDERSTAND THAT AN ANGEL CALLED MY NAME AND TOOK ME BY THE HAND. THE ANGEL SAID MY PLACE WAS READY IN HEAVEN FAR ABOVE AND I'D HAVE TO LEAVE BEHIND ALL THOSE I DEARLY LOVE.
BUT WHEN I WALK THROUGH HEAVEN'S GOLDEN
GATES I FELT SO MUCH AT HOME WHEN GOD LOOKED DOWN AND SMILED AT ME AND TOLD ME, WELCOME HOME! SO WHEN TOMORROW STARTS WITHOUT ME, DON'T THINK WE'RE FAR APART. FOR EVERYTIME YOU THINK OF ME I'M RIGHT THERE IN YOUR HEART.
SHE WAS A KIND INDIVIDUAL AND FOUND GOOD IN ALL PEOPLE - AND A BLESSING IN EVERY SITUATION. SHE EXPERIENCED MANY VICTORIES AND SORROWS IN HER LIFE. AND HER DEVOUT FAITH AND PUTTING THE LORD FIRST, CAME BEFORE ANYTHING IN HER LIFE. TODAK IS A SAD DAY WHAT A LIFE SHE HAD - SHE'S EARNED HER SOLID GOLD CROWN. NO MORE PAIN NO MORE SUFFERING.
SHE'S NOW COMFORTABLY RESTING IN
HEAVEN, WHERE JESUS HAS WELCOMED HER

Teodoro Rodriguez
September 2, 1968 - March 22, 2023
Teodoro Rodriguez departed from this world on March 22nd , 2023 at the age of 54 years old. Leaving behind 2 sisters, and 2 brothers. Also leaving behind his children ( Anthony Moreno, Nicole Rodriguez, and Roxanne Rodriguez ). Let us not forget about his 11 beautiful grandchildren, whom he loved the most. Last but not least, his love and his life, his wife Betty Rodriguez.
>> Losing a loved one unexpectedly is one of the worst feelings in the world. It's the kind of pain NO person should have to endure. But unfortunately, it's the pain my family and I have come face to face with. Although my dad, Teodoro, is no longer with us, his memories will always remain. There is so much I can say about the kind of person he was, not only to his family but also to his friends. He was the kind of person to make you laugh, even when you were feeling sad. He was the kind of person to love you deeply, even if you were difficult to love. He was the kind of person who loved to help and give you everything he had, even if he had nothing at all. He was the kind of man who would come into your life, even if only for a brief moment, and leave a lasting impression. One no person could ever forget.
>> There is a big difference between existing and living in life, Teodoro knew that difference. He knew the true meaning behind living and enjoying life. That is something he did with pride. From traveling, to rock concerts, to FAMILY time. He just knew how to enjoy life. Being born and raised in Houston Texas, he was a huge fan of the Texans football team. Win or lose, he was their #1 fan. One thing he was really good at was looking and dressing with style. He was the definition of "Dress To Impress". Man did he know how to cook. No matter what it was he was making, from shrimp cocktail, or fajita, it was all delicious to me. Good food was something he definitely enjoyed. But the thing I think he enjoyed the most was spending time with his grandchildren. They sure did love him right back. Not one day went by he did not spend with his wife Betty Rodriguez. Not only was she the person he spent his life with, she was the person who cared for him each and everyday. I don't think he would have made it this far in life without her. So, thank you mama for loving my dad the way you did. My heart goes out to her the most in this time of grief.
>> Although none of us were ready to let you go, GOD called you home to be with him and your loved ones in Heaven. I know he is more than happy to see his mom and dad ( Manuel and Carlota Rodriguez ) once again. He definitely has some catching up to do with his brothers. But nothing brings more joy to his heart to reunite with his baby boy Carlos Rodriguez. You will be deeply missed by many. But at least we can say yours was a life well spent. It isn't what we leave behind, it's what we leave in peoples's hearts that count. For my family and I, it was the unconditional love you gave to us, and for that we are forever grateful. Even though none of us are prepared to journey life without you, it's something we must do. So DAD until we meet again, remember, if no one has told you yet today, I LOVE YOU!!!

Clifton Fisher
April 26, 1945 - March 10, 2023
Clif loved his life here on Earth. He loved to flounder and gave his catch to friends. He loved to ski and would glide down the slopes with the grace of a dancer. He was proud of his career in (Webster Tx) as a postal carrier and loved to tell people so. But his love of golf is what he lived for. He would have and could have been a professional. He had his family obligations permitted. He took care of and buried all of us except me. He blessed me the most. He helped me physically by teaching me to golf and to ski. He helped me at my ranch and home while his own pursuits suffered. Clif was a Superman and proud to help others and to be of service to our country. Anyone who knows him knows he was very vocal about his love for our nation, for President Trump and his anger toward all who are destroying our freedom. Clif was a true dichotomy; strong love strong hate all bundled up in one body. Clif never married and never had a family of his own. He did have one true love that he carried in his heart anyways. Clif and I were total opposites and would argue about anything even when we agreed. We would finally agree to disagree all was well. We loved each other. I was completely honored and blessed to have had the opportunity to care for him in his final days and I’m thankful to God that he is now at home and at peace with our Lord.
Clif loved and enjoyed:
-Golfing
-Fishing
-Skiing (Snow + Water)
-Hunting
-Chess & Board Games
-Art; Draftsmen
-Problem Solver
-Poet
-His dog ‘Dax’
-Western Movies & Music

Maria S. Leon
July 27, 1953 - March 10, 2023

Victoriano Aleman
September 10, 1965 - March 5, 2023
Victoriano Aleman Jr. departed this world on March 5, 2023 at the age of 57 years old. Leaving behind four sons and only one daughter. As well as 18 beautiful grandchildren, five loving brothers, and two crazy sisters. He will also be deeply missed by his mother Janie Aleman. We can all agree that losing a loved one is difficult, but to lose them unexpectedly is just TRAGIC. Victor, though, was the kind of man that wouldn't want his loved ones sitting around feeling sorry. He was the kind of man that would want us to celebrate and always remember the good times. So that is exactly what us Alemans are going to do.
When it came to loving his family, that is something Victor did with pride. Especially when it came to his big boys Chino and Guero whom loved him in return. He also adored every single one of his grandchildren. And not a day went by he didn't talk to his carnale Ben, who was always there for him no matter what. Hardworking, considerate, sociable, honest, and brave are also great words I can use to describe Victor. There are actually many more things I can say about Victor and the kind of man he was. But instead, I will just say that I feel truly blessed to have known Mr. Victor Aleman Jr.
I know he will be deeply missed by all. As much as we all wish for him to continue with us in life, God decided it was time for him to go HOME. It is time to join his loved ones in heaven. I know he will have the time of his life reuniting with his father, Victoriano Aleman Senior, his sister Dolores, and his brothers Andy, Jessie, and Ray Aleman. So may you rest in peace and remember this is not goodbye, but a see you later POP!

Lynn Boles
December 10, 1950 - Febuary 22, 2023
As a family, we selfishly struggle with our great loss while knowing that our wonderful mother, mother-in-law, nana, sister, and friend woke up on February 22, 2023, in the presence of our Lord and Savior. Knowing her to be a woman of faith that often told us in times of trouble to “pray about it” we find great comfort in knowing we will join her at our Father’s home in his time. While this brings us a measure of peace, being in a world without her warm embrace will be a challenge for those that loved her.
Born to Cosper and Pearl Ritchie on December 10, 1950, Lynn was the third of four children. She had two older sisters, Kay and Ondine, and a younger brother “Buddy”. Losing their father at a young age brought struggles to the family but may also explain the great love she had for family and the great bond she shared with her siblings and mother. She never missed an opportunity to brag about her siblings or tell hilarious stories of their childhood in Richton, Mississippi. A frequent part of those stories were her good friends Jimmie Rose and Charlotte. While miles and years separated them, she never stopped loving or cherishing her time with them both.
Lynn would later move to Texas where she raised two daughters. She worked for and retired from The State of Texas - Child Protective Services. Even as a working single mother, she always put her family first. Lynn worked hard but always loved harder. Those lucky enough to know her will remember her easy laugh, big smile, and kind heart. Those blessed to have been loved by her will hold memories of being cherished as few are, defended as few can, and loved with no conditions, limits, or apologies. Lynn loved crafting, sewing, and looking for the best bargain while shopping. She never missed an opportunity to help a friend in need. She was honest but kind, quick-tempered but forgiving, and goal-driven but patient. Most of all, she was our Monarch and she never let us forget it.
Lynn was preceded in death by her parents Cosper and Pearl Ritchie, sister Ondine Hutto, and brother Franklin Cosper “Buddy” Richie, Jr.
Lynn is survived by her sister, Kay Kittrell, and husband Jim Kittrell; Sister-in-law, Judy Richie; Daughters, Susalyn Vaughn and husband Tommy Vaughn and Loren Fonte and husband Ryan Fonte; Grandchildren, Dustin Vaughn, and wife Cera Vaughn, Trenton Vaughn, and wife Payton Elyse Vaughn, Kallie Vaughn, Payton Vaughn, and Rylen Fonte; and Great-Grandchildren, Aiden Vaughn, Avery Vaughn, Calvin Vaughn, and Oliver Vaughn.
ng that our wonderful mother, mother-in-law, nana, sister, and friend woke up on February 22, 2023, in the presence of our Lord and Savior.

Maria Zanco
November 20, 1961 - January 8, 2023
Maria Delourdes Zanco, 61, of Pasadena, Tx, passed away peacefully at home on January 8,
2023. Lourdes was loved by many people because of the golden heart she had. She was the
backbone for many of us, she always had the best advice, was a great friend, and a wonderful
mother and grandmother. She had a passion for crocheting, cooking, and caring for others. She
worked as a CNA for over 16 years and always loved to help those in need. Lourdes shared
many hard times and many good times with those closest to her, but it did not matter how many
times she spoke to someone, the distance, or the disagreements she had, she would do the
impossible for everyone. Lourdes went through many trials and tribulations and survived each
and everyone one of them. She was a warrior, the glue to the family, had the most contagious
smile and laugh. She loved deeply and freely and would give those in need her last dollar without
hesitation. Lourdes will be missed deeply and will never be forgotten.
Lourdes was reunited in heaven with her father Ricardo Doñez and long-life friends Samuel R.
Zanco and Marcos Peña. She leaves behind her two sons George M. Doñez and Demitri D.
Zanco, three grandchildren Destiny N. Doñez, Giovanni J. Trujillo, Gerardo M. Doñez, and
daughter-in-law Linda T. Doñez. She is survived by her mother Gloria Doñez, her 5 brothers, 4
sisters, and many cousins, extended family, and friends.

Melchor Martinez Morales
Janurary 9, 1957 - December 10, 2022
Melchor Morales Martinez also know as POP's. Passed away at the age of 65, on December 10th-2022. Melchor was born on January, 9th 1957 in Guanajuato, Mexico municipio de Valle de Santiago.
Pops came to the United States of America seeking the American dream. He later brought his wife and children to join him in his dream in the city of Houston Texas. During his rough beginnings he worked in the restaurant industry. He started as a dishwasher in Panchos Mexican restaurant and moved up to being the head cheff.
He enjoyed cooking, chiling, bringing the kids to soccer games and chilling in the porch while barbecuing and drinking a beer. Every night after work he would come home with bags of chips, milk, ice cream, and one beer. This was a tradition for the family and continued along with the grandkids, something he was knowned and loved for.
Pops always had something sweet, funny, or encouraging to say, depending on the situation. He will be definitely be missed by his wife Maria De Morales, his children Juan Luis, Gabby, Cesar, Paulina, Melchor Jr, Adrian and baby boy Juanito Morales. His grandchildren Lorena, Brandy, Celia, Jesus, Jennyfer, Marli, Jocelyn, Jazmin, Joel, Jason, Adriana, Angel, Maury, Destiny, Cruz, Gracie, Alejandro, Mauricio and Natty. He will be missed by his son and daughters in law- Daniel, Alejandro, Elizabeth, Vanessa, Guadalupe and Ada. He was preceded by his brothers Jorge and Mario, and sisters Alma and Maria Eugenia Morales.
We thank everybody for their kind thoughts and prayers, for no words can describe the feeling and pain that the family is going through. May Pop's be in a better place with no pain and joyful to see how much love he spread during his time in life. He will forever live in our hearts for we are lucky to have had him as a dad.
